BAD DÜRKHEIM

We went to Bad Durkheim a few weeks ago. It is one of the biggest wine festivals in Europe and has the largest wine barrel...which they have made in to a restaurant. There was a bunch of wine tents where they were serving glasses of wine by the half liter! It was mostly a huge carnival with lots of rides and games. The weather was beautiful so we saw some great views of the vineyard from above.

Our new haus

After several months homeless we are now getting settled in our house. We live in a small village about 15 mins from the Army hospital called Nanzdietscheiler. The house is 4 bedrooms, 3 bath, and big curly stairs up the center. The kids and I both love the big attic space that we have made in to a playroom. We live on a cul de sac it is great for bike riding and playing. So far we are very happy with everything.
